Who’s behind Wisp?

“I don’t care where my compute comes from, as long as it’s simple, secure, accessible and affordable”

Our story

Our journey began with the co-founding of eye-tracking startup Obital, which was later acquired by GN Store Nord A/S. Following this, we spent three years co-leading the development of an intelligent video portfolio, driving innovation in AI-powered solutions.

With over 8 years of experience in AI, machine learning, and cloud computing, one question has continuously followed us: Why does running compute workloads in the cloud have to be so complex?

Our vision

Wisp is building the world’s first inter-cloud broker, where AI compute is as simple as electricity: sourced from anywhere, optimized for price and performance, and delivered in a compliant, secure, and scalable way.

First, we’re building the technical infrastructure that enables automated provisioning, configuration, and data transfer, making it extremely easy to execute complex workloads in the cloud.

Next, we’re developing an AI-powered system capable of accurately predicting resource requirements, ensuring workloads run as efficiently as possible across diverse resource types, hardware configurations, chip manufacturers, cloud regions, and zones.

Lastly, we’ll launch the broker. Like an electricity market, our broker will dynamically source compute capacity in real-time, leveraging market data to ensure customers always get the best solution for their workloads.
